I've managed time to pick up a camera for something more than family snaps ,

I went to visit a friend who has inherited his grandfathers racing motorbikes , they are crammed into a dim garage so only realy could get some detail pictures , a couple are not very well focused but they contain important details so I kept them in ,

 I hope to return to his garage again soon and maybe get the bikes outside  for some different pics

Santas on the Run 2014

Here are my best from the event. The organisers seemed pleased and have used a number of them on their pages for the event. I am happy with some, but I think I struggled with the low lighting and ended up with a lot of underexposed shots. I also found that I wasn't as quick off the mark as I'd like in snatching a picture when I saw it - the scene was constantly shifting, any delay and you lost your picture. So for the future I will probably be practicing some more 50 in 30 to get my speed up.

Drinks?

There was some discussion about a  pub trip this Tuesday as everyone was in a hurry to get off last week. I'm free to meet up at a pub in the Cowley Road area if anyone else is interested.
