I’ve been looking through some photos in a book that my step-father has lent me called Magnum Landscape.
In there I found Ernst Haas.

This Gallery of 50's Paris is stunning, my favourite is
"The View from Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris Toward the Eiffel Tower, Paris, 1955" A classic Parisian view, taken from a famous vantage point.
The two women are obviously distracted by something else off camera.
Paris is a beautiful city full of famous and iconic buildings, and the Eiffel tower its most iconic, its most famous view; but the Tower here, whilst a strong presence, is slightly out of focus. It almost gets lost in the sky, the women and their distraction from what most tourists would be focusing on is the story here. The women aren't dressed like "Tourists" they are not taking photos either. I feel like they are up there for other reasons, not to take in the view.
The colours are muted, there's an almost watercolour like feel to the picture, the rest of the landscape is blurred.
There are a lot more galleries and I love the "Motion" gallery too.
