The shallow depth of field is beautiful in lots of these photos - I especially like the effect with the flowers where the softness it creates seems to accentuate the delicate colours and structure of the subject.
I think the high contrast monochrome works well on the shot of the outside of the building and simplifies it to striking geometric shapes.
Is number four back-lit? It seems hard to pick out some of the foreground.
My favourite is the black and white picture of the sky reflected in the windows as Liz says nice geometric feel about the picture and the contrast of the wood cladding with the random clouds , In my opinion I think the view of the sky through the sky light has a lot of potential but feel that if it was taken directly under the window giving a nice symmetrical frame to the sky , I like the focussed picture of the rug , the close depth of field and angle of the carpet lead the eye to the feature you are interested in , but feel the background especial the table leg interrupt the flow , of this otherwise good picture
I like the skylight photo, the blue almost shines and makes the dark surround even darker. The white acts like a border, so it feels lie the sky is a picture in a picture. My only issue is the composition feels a little off, it could be more symmetrical.
My favourite is the monochrome exterior, the intersecting angles and reflected light. What I particularly like is the clean perspective of the angles on the builing, but the disjointed reflection moving in the other direction.
I do like the brick wall, but I think the composition is slightly off, like the window, I think it could be straighter or more symmetrical.
